Stuart Turner began his career in
mining in South Africa in 1987 having been awarded a scholarship from the Rand
Mines group and graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 1991 with a NHD
in Extraction Metallurgy. For an additional two years, Stuart furthered his
education following a professional career trainee program within the Randcoal
division. The highly practical nature of Stuart’s training left him with
extensive experience in Gold Extraction and DMS coal processing.
Stuart continued his technical
career as a contracting project engineer for Outokumpu Mintec in South Africa.
He was involved extensively with project engineering in the field of solid
liquid separation. Later, Stuart joined the Edward L. Bateman group and rapidly
continued to progress through the company ranks holding increasingly senior
positions, working with the product engineering and sales management of capital
process equipment.
Stuart's career with Bateman
culminated in his appointment as Manager of International Business Development
for Bateman Process Equipment. From 1998 to 2000, Stuart travelled extensively
throughout the world developing new markets for process equipment in North and
South America as well as Australia, Africa, New Zealand and the Pacific
Rim.
In March of 2000, Stuart left Bateman
and went on to form his own successful technology based company. Over a 6
year period, he grew his company into a strong medium sized enterprise
employing more than 15 people. In 2007, Stuart sold his shareholdings
in his company.
Today,
Stuart is the Chief Executive Officer of Resources Mining
Technologies. As a
renowned inventor, he contributes a wealth of highly
specialized proprietary gold and water processing technology and
experience. Stuart functions as Chief Technology
Officer specializing in Project & Production Management and Process
& Product Development for the company's gold and water
divisions.
